Sensorin is developing and commercializing a novel, proprietary and versatile sensing technology platform. The company is initially focusing on pH measurement in high-value manufacturing, where an internally referenced, continuously self-calibrating sensor without drift is advantageous. The Sensorin system uses solid state molecular electronics and is reliable, accurate and robust for deployment in process applications. The company's first product will be a pH sensing system for biologics manufacturing.

 

Sensorin was established to address the requirement for accurate, continuous, remote and sterile determination of pH in process environments. The company’s initial focus is on measuring pH in bioreactors, where drift-free and precise pH control is necessary for optimal cell growth and drug production. In the future, Sensorin intends to extend its technology to other industrial pH applications including water and wastewater purification and processing; oil, gas and biofuel production; and other industrial applications. Sensorin was founded by Dr. Carolyn Kahn, the company’s President and CEO. Dr. Kahn and Dr. Wong are inventors of the company’s pH technology platform. Sensorin began operations in the third quarter of 2007 and is privately funded. The company is located in Burlingame, California.
